Our story

A story generations in the making

Our great-grandfathers traded between these islands and dived for sponges in these waters. When marine tourism reached the Turkish coast, our family was among the first to bring it here. Step aboard, and you are joining a story generations in the making.

I · Generations at sea

Island traders

Our great-grandfathers sailed between the islands of this coast, trading from harbour to harbour.

II · Generations at sea

Sponge divers

Their work became the demanding craft of sponge diving. For decades, the family lived from the depths of the sea.

III · Generations at sea

Among the first

When marine tourism reached the Turkish coast, our family was among the first to welcome guests aboard.

IV · Generations at sea

Today

A new generation, still with salt on its skin, sharing the sea’s beauty, its stories and its freedom.

A week at sea, arranged by people who know the coast

Heritage Yachting arranges week-long charters on six crewed yachts: five classic wooden gulets and a 40-metre sailing yacht. Each route is a sample week: your captain adapts it to the wind and to how you like to spend your days.
